Born on March 3, 1997, in Cojímar, Eastern Havana, Cuba, Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao is a Cuban-American musician, songwriter, and actor who goes by the stage name Camila Cabello. Before going solo, she became famous as one-half of the girl group Fifth Harmony.

Camila came to fame after competing in the 2012 season of “The X Factor” in the United States; her family had relocated here when she was a little girl. Despite placing third, Fifth Harmony went on to become one of the most popular girl groups of the 2000s.
