The son of legendary actor Robert Mitchum, Christopher carved out his path in the entertainment industry, though his career has largely been in B-movies and action films.
Christopher Mitchum was born on October 16, 1943, in Santa Monica, California, to the iconic actor Robert Mitchum and his wife Dorothy Spence. Raised in a family steeped in Hollywood tradition, Christopher was exposed to the entertainment industry from a young age. He grew up alongside his siblings, including his brother James Mitchum, who also pursued an acting career. Christopher attended college and was an active student, but it wasn’t long before he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue acting professionally.
Christopher Mitchum began his acting career in the mid-1960s, appearing in minor roles in television and film.
