The daughter of a United States military officer, Jaime Lee Kirchner came into this world in Nuremberg, Germany. From the time she was eight years old, she grew up in Clarksville, Tennessee. Kirchner draws on her mother’s African-American background and her father’s German ancestry to provide a multifaceted view of cultural diversity.

Participating in school plays and community theater performances, Kirchner showed an early passion for the performing arts.
