Flacco was born on January 16, 1985, in Audubon, New Jersey, to Karen and Steve Flacco. He grew up in the small town of Haddon Township, New Jersey, where he showed early promise as an athlete. Flacco attended Audubon High School, where he was a standout football player. Flacco continued his football career at the University of Delaware, where he played for the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens. In his junior year, he led Delaware to the FCS national championship game and earned numerous accolades, including being named the Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year.
