Nathan Marquardt is a retired American professional mixed martial artist who made significant contributions to the sport of MMA over a career that spanned more than 16 years. Born on June 20, 1979, in Wheatridge, Colorado, Marquardt became one of the most respected middleweights in the sport, known for his aggressive fighting style, grappling skills, and ability to compete at the highest level. He is most famous for his time in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he established himself as a standout competitor in the middleweight division.
Marquardt grew up in Colorado and became interested in martial arts at a young age.
