Park Overall is an American actress and environmental activist best known for her distinctive Southern drawl and her roles in television and film throughout the late 1980s and 1990s. Overall initially studied English at Tusculum College in Tennessee before moving to New York City to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. Overall first gained national attention on the TV sitcom Empty Nest, which aired from 1988 to 1995 as a popular spin-off of The Golden Girls.
