Malibu, California, USA is the place where Roxana Zal came into our world on November 8, 1969. Her early exposure to the performing arts came from a family that was deeply involved in the business, which encouraged her to pursue acting. Hossein Zal, an accomplished artist and Iranian immigrant, was her father, and Maureen Zal, a textile designer, was her mother.

Even at an early age, Roxana was pursuing a career in show business. She made her television debut in 1981 on the sitcom “Hart to Hart” after a talent agency noticed her when she was nine years old. She got her start in the business at a young age, which led to many parts in TV movies and cameos on hit TV programs.

In 1984, Roxana Zal appeared in the made-for-television drama “Something About Amelia,” which tackled the delicate subject of incest and marked her debut in the acting industry. Her performance as Amelia Bennett, a teenager coping with the aftermath of her father’s sexual assault, was moving and strong.

Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie was among the many accolades she received for her performance in this role. Roxana achieved a major career milestone when she became the youngest winner of this award at the tender age of fourteen.
