Hanna Mangan-Lawrence came into this world in London, England, on March 5, 1991. Raised in Sydney, Australia, she immigrated to the country with her family when she was a little girl. Ray Lawrence, an Australian filmmaker, and Maggie Mangan, a British dramatist, introduced Hanna to the arts and performing from an early age. She credits her childhood with sparking her enthusiasm for singing and influencing her professional choice.

Hanna was a student at Sydney’s Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, where she was active in the school’s theater programs and developed her acting chops. She set herself up for success in the entertainment business with the work she put into her art when she was younger.
