Jeff Probst, born November 4, 1961, in Wichita, Kansas, is an American television personality, producer, and host best known for his long-running role as the host and executive producer of the reality competition series Survivor. Raised in Bellevue, Washington, Probst had an early interest in storytelling and filmmaking, which led him to pursue a career in media. He began his career behind the camera, working as a producer and narrator for Access Hollywood, a popular entertainment news show, before moving to hosting and producing on various projects.
