Jonathan Mangum is a well-known American actor, comedian, and TV host who specializes in improv comedy and game shows. A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Mangum has made a name for himself in show business because of his charisma, intelligence, and adaptability. He was born on January 16, 1971.

Mangum sought out chances in improv theater due to his early fascination with humor. He joined the legendary Los Angeles improv comedy group The Groundlings after honing his craft at several theaters and comedy clubs. He owes much of his later success to the comic timing and improvisational skills he honed while performing with The Groundlings.

Working closely with comic Wayne Brady was a high point in Mangum’s career. Mangum was a guest star and subsequently a regular cast member on the improv comedy program “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” where the two performers first collaborated.
