American director and producer Steven Spielberg was born on December 18, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is widely considered a cinematic legend.

Spielberg’s early passion in filmmaking led to the success of his first short film, “Amblin'” (1968), and eventually a contract with Universal Studios.
