The Danish-born multi-talented Sven-Ole Thorsen came into this world on September 24, 1944, and has since made his mark in the worlds of bodybuilding, acting, and stunt work. Thorsen has made an everlasting impression on the entertainment business with his towering stature and powerful body.

A lifelong admirer of strength training and physical conditioning, Thorsen entered the world of bodybuilding at an early age. His outstanding physique and rapid ascent through the ranks earned him notice and victory in several bodybuilding contests.

Along with his impressive bodybuilding abilities, Thorsen also developed a strong passion for martial arts, perfecting his techniques in judo and karate. When he was an action star and stunt performer, his skills in combat sports came in handy.

Acclaimed filmmaker John Milius spotted Thorsen in the 1980s and cast him as Thorgrim in the epic fantasy picture “Conan the Barbarian” (1982), which launched his career in the entertainment industry. It was the first step in Thorsen’s long and fruitful career as an actor in Hollywood, where he proved to be both adaptable and dependable.
