Welsh actor Timothy Dalton is well-known for his theater and cinema roles; he was born on March 21, 1946, in Colwyn Bay, Denbighshire. Dalton has been an award-winning actor for almost 50 years, and his roles in movies, TV shows, and stage productions have brought him great praise, especially for his depiction of James Bond.

Dalton attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) to refine his acting abilities and establish the foundation for his successful career. His passion for performing began at an early age. In 1966, he made his professional theatrical debut and quickly became known for his roles in Shakespearean plays.

One of Timothy Dalton’s first cinematic roles was in the 1978 historical drama “The Lion in Winter.” But his role as James Bond was the one that catapulted him to stardom throughout the world. Dalton portrayed the legendary character in two films: “The Living Daylights” (1987) and “Licence to Kill” (1989).
