American former ice hockey professional Todd Andrew Krygier was born on October 12, 1965. From 1989 to 1997, he was a member of the Hartford Whalers, Washington Capitals, and Anaheim Mighty Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Krygier represented the United States in three World Championships on the international stage. Krygier has been an assistant coach with the American Hockey League’s Grand Rapids Griffins since 2019, after retiring from playing.

The Hartford Whalers picked Krygier in the 1988 NHL Supplemental Draft after he played for the University of Connecticut. Before the Washington Capitals traded for him in 1991, he spent portions of two seasons with the Whalers. The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim acquired him in a trade in 1994.
