American actor Will Hutchins rose to fame as the likable but innocent cowboy Tom Brewster on the hit TV show “Sugarfoot.” He was born Willard Hutchins Jr. in Los Angeles, California, on May 5, 1930.

It was in the early 1950s that Hutchins made his acting debut, participating in several films and TV series. After landing the main role in the 1957–1961, hit TV series “Sugarfoot,” he became famous all over. The show chronicled the exploits of young cowboy Tom Brewster, who had a law degree, as he traversed the West and faced several enemies and obstacles. Fans of the Western genre began to love Hutchins after seeing him play the role of Brewster.

After her breakthrough performance in “Sugarfoot,” Hutchins kept busy in the entertainment industry, making cameo appearances on shows including “Maverick,” “77 Sunset Strip,” and “The Twilight Zone.” The 1966 picture “Spinout” featured him with Elvis Presley.
