Famous 2021 rapper whose tracks include “Don’t Go,” “Unseen Scars,” and “Phone Calls.” Lyrically, he often seems fragile and melancholy. His Instagram account, yattabandz, has more than 70,000 followers. His 2019 summer Soundcloud single “Loyalty” was his first release that year.

Launching in late 2021, his first single “Don’t Forget Me” marked his musical debut. One year down the road, he released a music video with the lyrics to “Phone Calls”I, Yatta, was born Kenyana Jones. In January 2017, the state brought charges against her. His several charges include firing at an unattended vehicle, being an ex-felon in possession of a handgun with a previous conviction, and assault with a semi-automatic rifle.

A security camera captured Yatta shooting at another vehicle, leading to his arrest. At the time of the crime, he violated his probation, which did not bode well for his case. Yatta pled guilty after his court efforts to get his charges dropped were unsuccessful. For attempted murder and possessing a semi-automatic pistol, Yatta is now serving a 12-year sentence. The court also mandated that he pay $600 in reparations.
