Former college football player and American actor Donald Gibb is famous for his portrayals as scary, violent villains on film and television. In the Big Apple, he came into this world on August 4, 1954.

During his time as a defensive lineman at UNM, Gibb was a football scholarship recipient. He had a short professional football career in the Canadian Football League (CFL) after finishing college, but he eventually decided to pursue acting instead.

As a result of his towering height and intimidating demeanor, Gibb was ideal for parts involving bullies and rough people. “Revenge of the Nerds” (1984) and its sequels featured him in the part of Frederick “Ogre” Palowakski, who is considered one of his most famous roles. Gibb gained fame and devotees as Ogre, a fraternity brother renowned for his macho demeanor and violent outbursts.

Aside from his part in the “Revenge of the Nerds” trilogy, Gibb has been in a plethora of films, often playing tough-guy types. “Bloodsport” (1988), “Under Siege” (1992), “The Stoned Age” (1994), and “Hancock” (2008) are a few of his significant cinema credits.
