Larry David, an American comedian, writer, actor, and producer, was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 2, 1947. Larry David went to high school in Brooklyn, in Sheepshead Bay. After that, he attended the University of Maryland, College Park, to major in history.

After some difficulty breaking into the stand-up comedy scene, David eventually became well-known for his humor, combining observational comedy with self-deprecating quips. His big break came when he and Jerry Seinfeld made the groundbreaking show Seinfeld. The program, which debuted in 1989, quickly rose to cultural prominence because of the success of its kind of observational comedy.

Larry David was instrumental to the success of “Seinfeld” as both the show’s chief writer and an executive producer. Even though the show ended in 1998, its influence on television is still felt today.
