John Cullen is a retired ice hockey player from Puslinch, Ontario, Canada, who was born on August 2, 1964, and is famous for his time in the NHL. As a child in Canada, Cullen’s early love of hockey set the stage for his incredible career.

During the 1985–1986 season, John Cullen made his NHL debut with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Being a talented center, he became famous for his ability to set up teammates and score goals. The success of the Penguins and Cullen’s scoring brilliance were both highlighted by his memorable seasons with the club.

Cullen had a lengthy NHL career, during which he was a member of many clubs. These included the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Hartford Whalers. Notably, he enjoyed a string of successful seasons when playing with the Hartford Whalers. Cullen became one of the best offensive players in the league in 1988–89 after scoring 110 points.
