American actress, TV presenter, and producer Kelly Ripa is famous for her long-running co-hosting gig on the hit morning chat program “Live with Kelly and Ryan” (formerly “Live with Regis and Kelly” and “Live! with Kelly”). She came into this world in Stratford, New Jersey on October 2, 1970.

The part of Hayley Vaughan, which Ripa performed from 1990 to 2002 on the soap opera “All My Children,” was the one that first brought her fame in the entertainment world. Her performance on the soap opera garnered her a slew of Daytime Emmy nominations and critical acclaim.

To fill Kathie Lee Gifford’s shoes on “Live with Regis and Kelly,” a morning talk program, Ripa teamed up with Regis Philbin in 2001. The show’s popularity and the coupling of Philbin with Ripa made it a mainstay in daytime television. Daytime television viewers adored Ripa for her charming demeanor, sharp humor, and connection with Philbin.

In 2011, Philbin announced his resignation from the program, however, Ripa remained a co-host under the new moniker “Live! with Kelly.” Before Ryan Seacrest became her official permanent co-host in 2017, the program was formally known as “Live with Kelly and Ryan.” This change occurred after she had previously shared the stage with many guest co-hosts.
