American actress Lynette Mettey rose to fame playing the part of Miss Beadle on the hit TV show “Little House on the Prairie.” A biography of her life and work is available here:

Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA is the site of Lynette Mettey’s birth on October 31, 1943. From an early age, she had a deep love for the stage. She followed her passion for acting after finishing college.

Mettey began gaining notice for her acting chops in the late ’60s when her career began. One of her most famous appearances came in 1974 when she played Miss Beadle on the classic TV show “Little House on the Prairie.”
