A visionary Japanese video game inventor, Satoshi Tajiri was born on August 28, 1965, in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan. He created the Pokémon series, which is well-known and adored by many. His rise to fame in the gaming and pop culture industries began with his early interest in insects and continued with the development of a worldwide sensation.

When Tajiri was a kid, he would spend hours upon hours investigating the woods and fields around his house in search of insects. His lifelong interest in animals and the natural world will serve as the basis for his most renowned invention, Pokémon.
