Nita Talbot is an American actress who was born on August 8, 1930. Her performance in the 1967–1968 season of Hogan’s Heroes garnered her a nomination for the Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Talbot had a prolific television career, most notably in Joe and Mabel, in which she starred alongside Larry Blyden as Joe Spooner.

Iris Anderson in the 1958 Perry Mason episode “The Case of the Pint-Sized Client”; Blondie Collins, a con artist, in season two of The Thin Man: 1071  (1958–59); Susan Reed, an actress with a history of con artists and money problems, in the first season of Mickey Spillane’s Mike Hammer (1958–59); the immigrant wife in “Land Deal” (season four, episode nine) on Gunsmoke (1958); and Belle in “Belle’s Back” (1960).

She was also a guest star on “Be My Guest” from 1960’s The Tab Hunter Show. In “Maria” (1961) from Alfred Hitchcock Presents, she played the role of a circus blonde who convinced that her husband had been unfaithful, leaves him for a wicked dwarf lady whose act included portraying a monkey with the ability to sketch what it sees.

She had a role in “Easy Mark” (1959) with Jack Kelly as a lady hired to “distract” Bart, playing the role of wealthy Cornelius Van Rennselaer Jr., and she acted against type in “The Resurrection of Joe November” (1960) with James Garner in Maverick’s third season.
